New Zealand Won the First T20 Cricket Match , defeating India By 7 Wickets
That was a very disappointed performance from Indian side in the first 20 20 match. When Indian started to bat they were looking terrific, the man in the form virender sahwag hit three continuous six in the very first over but soon his partner Gambhir got bowled in the second over. In the third over sahwag also got out. Suresh raina came and bat well for India. Veeru scored 26 runs on 14 balls, SK raina remained not out till end and scored 61 runs on 74 balls. Due to him India could make 162 runs.
The dangerous man Yusuf pathan did a good job and hit three continues sixes again in the match. He scored 20 runs in just 7 balls. Harbhajan scored 21 in 25 balls. The whole team can only make 162 in 20 overs on the loss of 8 wickets. From the New Zealand side, All the bats man played very well except JD Ryder, the scored 166 in 18.5 balls, still 7 ball remaining and they won the match. From the New Zealand side total sixes in this match were 11 and from the Indian side 13. But bad luck for India this time.

The second T20 cricket match between India and New Zealand will be played on 27th February 2009. New Zealand moral would be definitely high whereas Indians would be in great pressure as they have lose the match and have not won any series in New Zealand till now. If they won he match still this T20 cricket match series will get draw and as both the teams would have same points or if Indian loss this match too then it can be very big loss for Indians. India will definitely work hard and give their best performance in the coming 20 20 cricket match on 27th February.
